Capo d'Uomo on the isle of Argentario is an absolutely enchanting place. Somewhere where time seems to stand still. The old tower that overlooks the fortress still seems to hold ancient mysteries and on windy days it seems as if one can decipher distant voices. As you walk along the path you are overwhelmed by intense scents from the bush that covers this harsh land of haunting beauty, while on the slopes that fall to the sea you can still make out the terraces, stolen from the land to cultivate a powerful yet delicate wine.
As you look across the vast horizon you can still become intoxicated by this landscape and dream of far-away places.

Here you can breathe in the fresh sea breeze and also a little mountain air thanks to that sense of freedom and emptiness that surrounds the silvery grey cliffs. The route "Argento Argentario" is a small pearl that has stemmed from the sea. It's a pleasant outing: pitch 3 offers a crazy amount of holds strewn here and there that come in the most amazing shapes and sizes. As you ascend upwards you make your way past beautiful flowering Helichrysum italicum which smells of licorice. It's a sweet unexpected gift that enters the heart... etches memories... is one of life's little joys.
