On 14 January 2014 Alex Honnold made a free solo ascent of Sendero Luminoso, a classic 5.12+ big wall in El Portrero Chico, Mexico. Prior to his ascent the American climbed the route a couple of times with Cedar Wright to clean the route and check out the moves. While the official Sendero Luminoso film was published later that year, Wright has now released the footage he recorded during the process that lead to the solo.
