Alain Robert has done it again. Last Thursday the Frenchman needed 36 minutes to reach the "summit" f the Tour Ariane, the large glass building in the Defense quarter of Paris. Robert did it in his usual style, alone and without ropes... Naturally his ascent was watched and applauded by 400 improvised spectators, a crowd of journalists and cameras. And as usual Robert was greeted on the top by a number of policemen.

By now "Spiderman" , as Robert has been baptized by the international press, has become used to these police greetings... He has climbed circa 90 of the tallest buildings in the world including the Eiffel Tower, the Grande Arche at La Défense, the New York Times Building and the Empire State Buildingin New York, Sears Tower in Chicago, Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Blue Cross Tower in Philadelphia, Luxor Hotel Pyramid at Las Vegas and the Petronas Towers 1and 2 in Kuala Lumpur...

For the record, Alain climbed with two chalkbags and demonstrated perfect crack jamming... as you can see from the video below.
