Canada equals ice climbing. This is what German climbers Tanja Schmitt and Matthias Scherer thought when they spent most of November and some of December 2012 in Canada to climb some of the cult drips of the North American continent. The booty: 13 icefalls (listed below) of which three are documented in this video. Sidenote news: Tanja and Matthias used to live in Germany's Frankfurt but are now based in Cogne in Northern Italy to be closer to their beloved icefalls. During the last decade Scherer has climbed more than 500 icefalls, 400 of which with his wife.
