At Cova de Ocell close to Barcelona in Spain Chris Sharma has freed a difficult boulder problem he has described as the "Catalan Witness the Fitness."

On the East Face of Cornone di Blumone in the Adamello massif, Andrea Mutti made the first ascent of Il Paradiso Perduto (6b, 300m). The face has been called Icaro Wall and the route is named in honour of Corrado "Icaro" De Monte.
