Live streaming The North Face Kalymnos Climbing Festival 2013

So the Kalymnos live will begin on Thursday morning at 10:45 CET with a short introduction to the Festival, before concentrating on what's going on up at the crag until 13:00. The secret PROject competition cliff, bolted by Jacopo Larcher, Hansjörg Auer, Iker Pou and Siebe Van Hee will finally be revealed and this will host fifteen pro climbers invited to take part in the 2013 edition. The cameras will zoom in on Gabriele Moroni, Sasha DiGiulian and Alexander Megos as they work the redpoint routes, and film the après-climbing interviews with Nina Caprez, Daniel Woods, Silvio Reffo and Barbara Zangerl to name but a handful of those who'll be at the Festival.

The live competition broadcast ends at 13:00 but, after a day off, it'll continue on Saturday with the grand finale. And while the pro climbers rest on Friday, the Festival continues with the BIG and OPEN Marathons, the two informal climbing marathons (split into two categories depending on the ability level of each climber). Live streaming kicks off at the end of this climbing day, namely at 20:50 CET on Friday, to document the Story Teller's Night, the evening dedicated Hansjörg Auer, Iker Pou and Eneko Pou and their Baffin Island expedition. In addition, those who watch these adventures from home can interact and send questions directly to the Festival Base Camp in Masouri and maybe even hear the answers live from Kalymnos.

On Saturday it's time for the grand finale as it's the second day of the BIG and OPEN Marathons, and also the second and final day of the PROject competition. Once again the film cameras will be up at the crag, from 08:00 - 13:00 CET, for the climbs, the redpoint attempts, the interviews, results and also the highlights of the previous two days. Commentary will be provided by calibre climbers Jacopo Lacher, Hansjörg Auer and Iker Pou. Bearing all this in mind, it's certain to be a great success. Also because the weather forecast is superb: sun, sun, sun!
