9/04/2007 Arvier, Val d’Aosta: the XIII Tour du Rutor was won by Dennis Brunod and Manfred Reichegger from Italy ahead of the Frenchmen Perrier and Gachet, winners of the last Pierra Menta. Gloriana Pellissier teamed up with Laetitia Roux to win the women's event, ahead of the the world champions Roberta Pedranzini and Francesca Martinelli. Over 400 teams took part in the event which started at Planaval at 1554m and covered a total of 2300 height gain via crests and couloirs. All eyes are now set on the Trofeo Mezzalama, scheduled for 29 April.
