The penultimate day of the ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Championships 2023 hosted the queen discipline, the Individual race, which took place in beautifully sunny conditions on a perfect course.

Teammates Robert Antonioli and Nadir Maguet placed third and fourth, while France's William Bon Mardion finished 5th.
In the women's race France's Axelle Gachet-Mollaret demonstrated her astounding superiority once again, steering clear of the pack right from the start to finish with a monumental +3 minute lead ahead of Italy's Alba De Silvestro, while teammate Giulia Murada placed third 42 seconds later. Johanna Hiemer of Austria achieved a career-best result placing fourth, as did fifth-placed Giulia Compagnoni.
