Lead World Cup 2013 - Valence live

The Valence leg of the Lead World Cup 2013 is about to kick off and it's worth highlighting the biggest novelty: 76 athletes will take part including Adam Ondra, the Czech climber who after a few years of absence (following his win in 2009) has decided to put himself to the test once again in the competition circuit. While Ondra obvioulsy stands no chance of winning the overall cup, a good performance on his behalf could change things up top where every point is vital. At present Japan's Sachi Amma leads the provisional ranking ahead of Jakob Schubert and Ramon Julien Puigblanque, while in the women's event Mina Markovic trails Jain Kim by a mere 10 points.
