In the fall of 2020 Edu Marín managed to free Arco Iris, an old project on the conglomerate walls of Montserrat in Spain. First ascended with the use of aid in July 1979 by Armand Ballart and German Folch, Marin junior was belayed by his father Francisco Marin on 9 October for the first free ascent which came about after five hours of effort. The maximum grade of 8c+ was confirmed by Seb Berthe who made the first repeat the following year.
