Melloblocco returns to Val di Mello - Val Masino, Italy

It's official. From 4 to 7 May 2023 Melloblocco, the world's biggest bouldering and climbing meeting, will return to Val di Mello - Val Masino, Italy. After its debut in 2004, this legendary event immediately transformed into an unmissable international climbing meet, so much so that its reputation transcended all borders. For 15 years - 14 in Val Masino and 1 at Cresciano in Switzerland - Melloblocco broke every conceivable record, in a small valley of unique, pristine beauty.

2023 heralds a new beginning after the enforced stop in 2019. Times have obviously changed and now the Val di Mello - Val Masino valleys are ready once again to welcome climbers from every corner of the planet.

The new edition contains plenty of novelties that we'll report about in the coming weeks, but the tried-and-tested original formula remains unchanged: everyone is invited to climb on the thousand plus granite boulders dotted throughout the valley, provided that - as - as has always been the case - they respect the natural habitat. Numerous "top climbers" will test their skills on a special set boulders, brushed specially for the strongest boulderers in the world, but as always the most important thing isn't to compete, but just to be there. To share this overwhelming love for climbing that seems limitless. See you up in the valley at the start of May.
