Julia and Jernej Kruder Deep Water Solo climbing at Mallorca
The video of Slovenian siblings Jernej and Julia Kruder DWS climbing on the island of Mallorca in autumn 2018.

Jernej Kruder deep water solo climbing at Mallorca, October 2018
After a first taste of Deep Water Solo climbing on Mallorca’s rugged coastline in 2016, Slovenia’s Jernej Kruder was literally hooked on this form of solo climbing, fascinating but also not without dangers, high above the sea. His coveted first repeat of Chris Sharma’s famous Es Pontas proves that this discipline suits Kruder down to a tee, as do his successive trips to the Spanish island to establish new lines.
During his last travels in October 2018 he was joined by his sister Julia who, with her repeat of the 8a+ Weatherman (likely the hardest female DWS to date), evidently is equally at ease with this psicobloc.
