Austrian climber Barbara Zangerl paid a quick visit to one of her favourite climbing areas, Arco in Italy, where last Friday she made a fast ascent of the 8c+ Pungitopo. Located at the crag Red Point Wall in Valle di Laghel, this climb was bolted by Francesco Morandi and freed in 2022 by Adam Ondra who described the line as "possibly Arco's most aesthetic hard line."
Eva Hammelmüller made the first female ascent a year ago, and Zangerl needed just 5 sessions now for the rotpunkt.
Zangerl is sponsored by Black Diamond, La Sportiva, Vibram and Powerbar.
