Anna Stöhr’s Evolution online at 14 today

Today at 14.00 Salewa launches its film Evolution about Austrian climber Anna Stöhr. After dominating bouldering competitions for over a decade, following a back injury the 31-year-old decided to change completely and test herself on Ali Baba, the difficult and beautiful multi-pitch sports climb at Aiglun in France. The documentary explores the search for one's limits, both physical and mental.

After retiring from competitions in 2018, Austrian climber Anna Stöhr was on the lookout for new challenges. She certainly found one at Aiglun, the small village in the French Maritime Alps, where the 31-year-old dealt with the strikingly beautiful multi-pitch Ali Baba (8a+, 250m). The film Evolution documents the journey that took the double Bouldering World Champion from one end of the climbing spectrum to another, from climbing competitions to the freedom of big multi-pitches.
