The summer season finished some time ago, in the cities and in the mountains the temperatures have dropped and we are now waiting for the first snow to officially start the winter season. Nowadays mountaineers don't stop during this transition period: with the use of warm and technical clothing, studying the weather and planning the excursion correctly, this is the recipe for a good day out. Without forgetting a backpack packed with a harness, a helmet and all the necessary equipment for the new adventure. Climbing Technology has all the products for your safety and that of your climbing partner whether you choose to head into the mountains or go rock climbing.

CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY ASCENT
ASCENT is the versatile harness that CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY has designed for all-round use, from sport climbing to winter mountaineering. Equipped with four adjustment buckles for optimal fit, ASCENT features a durable and ergonomic waist belt that provides greater lumbar support. The harness is lined with quick-drying, breathable mesh to ensure maximum comfort even during the hottest days and prolonged use; in addition, the lower tie-in point is equipped with a wear indicator to help determine when the harness is worn out and needs to be retired. Thanks to the new leg-loop design and construction, with dimensions in the crotch area that have been reduced to minimize chafing, ASCENT provides a balanced load distribution during suspension. In addition to the four gear loops - two wider and two smaller ones, ideal for placing accessories - ASCENT is equipped with two slots to accommodate a tool-carrying carabiner or hammer holster, plus a rear loop for the chalk bag.

BE UP
BE UP is the multipurpose belay/abseil device, compact and with an innovative design, suitable for use with half ropes, twin ropes and single ropes, in mountaineering, climbing on multi-pitch routes, sport and trad. Intuitive and easy to use, it features a brake-modulating system that optimizes braking on all types of ropes and allows the auto-locking and independent belaying from above of one or two seconds and the belaying of the leader. Thanks to the upgraded design, paying out rope has become smooth, quick and efficient.Weight: 85 g

CRIC
CRIC is the multi-function rope clamp designed by CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY for mountaineering, rescue and rope access work. Durable, practical and intuitive to use, it offers four different modes of operation: ascender, pulley, rope clamp/pulley or progress-capture hauling pulley. Its versatility, compact design and ease of use help minimize time, material and room needed for rope manoeuvres. When in ascender mode, it allows ascending the rope in accordance with EN 567 / EN 12841-B standards; when it is in pulley mode, it can be used as a simple pulley for lifting or transferring a load, as the rope is free to run in both directions. In progress-capture hauling pulley mode, it allows the direct lifting of a load, the creation of hauling systems and the rescue or self-rescue of a person, as in case of a fall in a crevasse, since the rope is free to run in one direction but is locked in the opposite one. In progress-capture hauling pulley mode it is also possible to lower the lifted load by acting on the dedicated cord connected to the cam within the device. Thanks to the user-friendly opening via an intuitive release button, the device can be swiftly installed on the rope in any of its different modes of use, even with gloves on or while operating in difficult conditions. In addition, CRIC is equipped with a steel cam featuring teeth that minimize rope wear but are very effective in blocking the rope, when so needed. In addition, the cam is designed with two slots that reduce the build-up of dirt, to maintain the lock on the rope very efficient in any condition.
Caution! This product is not a fall arrester (EN 353-2 / EN 12841-A) nor can it be used for self-belaying while climbing.Weight: 150 g
