Route

Fantastic, demanding climbing up excellent quality rock to the left of Via degli Scoiattoli. The in-situ gear, a mixture of bolts and pegs, is fairly run-out at times.

Access

Take the cable car from Cortina to Ra Valles and then walk along the Bus di Tofana piste. Head right towards the base of the wall, and climb the short pedestal. Start to the left of Via degli Scoiattoli (bolt).

Descent

From the top of the pillar traverse left along a series of ledges to a gully. Scramble up this to reach the ridge and via ferrata. Descend to the Bus di Tofana arch and continue down to Ra Valles.

Ripetuta il 24/09/2023 La via è molto bella ma necessita di una sistemata, nelle condizioni attuali è abbastanza pericolosa per la qualità delle protezioni. S2 è su un solo fix vecchio, esposta alla caduta di sassi, sconsiglio vivamente di unire a L2 il passaggio lungo la cengia L3, eventuale caduta sassi (probabile) colpirebbe la sosta sottostante. S3 non è presente nè è possibile mettere alcuna protezione ad eccezione di un unico chiodo di dubbia tenuta. Su L6 è presente un solo spit a mano molto vecchio, grado corretto 6a+. Sconsiglio una ripetizione
