Route
A classic route through the center of the Tofana di Mezzo’s beautiful East Face. First ascended with the help of aid, it now goes free at 7a. Excellent quality rock, except for a few rare exceptions, and plenty of in-situ pegs render this route a safe, pleasant outing.
Access
Take the cable car from Cortina to Ra Valles and then walk along the Bus di Tofana piste. Head right towards the base of the wall, and start directly beneath the obvious niche, 40m above the base. Descent
From the top of the pillar traverse left along a series of ledges to a gully. Scramble up this to reach the ridge and via ferrata. Descend to the Bus di Tofana arch and continue down to Ra Valles.

Alcune soste sono da rinforzare, soprattutto quelle dei tiri duri. Utile un set di friends. I chiodi lungo i tiri sono molti. Molto pericoloso il passaggio del 3° tiro - FRIABILISSIMO! Abbiamo seguito la relazione di Rabansen (la via risale al 1966), i tiri di 7°+ dopo il tetto di 8° sono molto duri. Non sono riuscito a fare tutti i passaggi in libera. Ho trovato tiri di 6c e 6c+ in montagna molto meno impegnativi. Merita per la qualità della roccia e per l'ambiente. Noi siamo saliti da dibona per sentiero Olivieri ( h 1.30) e scesi passando per Punta Giovannina (h 1.20 dalla cima. Per la via considerare 6 ore. Michele

Chi e' che ha dato questi gradi?Poi anche la data della prima salita non mi pare del 96 ma del 66... Ancora un po' e chi ha aperto la via e' Qui Quo e Qua
