Route

An an elegant three pitch mixed route above Köfels. Bolts were placed on-lead on 26 December 2010, and the route was subsequently redpointed on 2 January by both Leichtfried and Fiegl.

Getting there
Drive into the Ötztal, continue past Umhausen to Köfels. Park the car at the Alpengasthof Köfels. Access
Walk up the valley along the edge of the forest to reach the forest road. Continue past this upwards to reach another forest road. Follow this right to a hairpin bend. Leave this and continue through the forest, no path, diagonally to the base of the route. Crampons and walking sticks recommended, circa 45 minute walk-in. Itinerary

P2: M10, 35m, 5 bolts, bolt belay
P3: WI5+, 25m, bolt belay Descent
Abseil down the route. 1 bolt has been placed at the start of P2, circa 10m left, for the abseil. Gear
