ASGARD is the multi-purpose technical ice axe designed by CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY for couloirs, moderately sloping north faces and ridges with mixed climbing. It features an ergonomic stainless steel head and a curved light alloy handle both with a differentiated finish.

The design of the ASGARD head is characterized by a specific placement for the hand and reduced thickness of the central section which allows for an optimal grip both when climbing up and down. The robust and lightweight serrated blade is designed for excellent penetration into hard snow and ice; the strong adze has been designed for efficient cutting of steps.

The curved handle at the top facilitates use during progression and the straight part at the base for an effective penetration into the snow as well as having a rougher finish for a better grip during use; a pictogram on the handle indicates the correct connection point for use as an anchor.

The ASGARD is equipped with an adjustable hand support (Handy) to increase the grip of the ice axe on technical moves and has a stainless steel spike equipped with a hole for a carabiner or a sling. It is assembled with the new bonded technology to improve the weight and increase the waterproofness; made of stainless steel and anodized light alloy to prevent oxidation.

The ASGARD is available in the following lengths: 50 – 60 – 70 cm.
Weight: 500 g (60 cm length)
