At Mollans in France Adam Ondra has made the first ascent of C.R.S., a new sports climb graded 9b. This is the 14th 9b or harder the Czech climber has redpointed.

Severino Seve Scassa, who climbed Italy’s first 8c+ in 1993 with Noia at andonno, shares his views about Lapsus, the new route freed at the same crag by Stefano Ghisolfi graded 9b.

Today at andonno (NW Italy) Stefano Ghisolfi made the first ascent of Lapsus, the hardest sports climb in Italy and the first route in the country to be graded 9b.

At the historic Italian crag andonno Severino Scassa Seve has rebolted more than 20 climbs including the famous Noia, the first 8c+ in Italy established 20 years ago. Replacing the bolts and chains was a tough, meticulous task as Scassa explains.

On 10 October Fabrizio Droetto repeated Noia, the legendary 8c+ at andonno, first ascended by Severino Scassa in 1993.

On 14/05 Christian Bindhammer repeated Action Direct 9a in the Frankenjura, first climbed by Wolfgang Güllich in 1991.

On 13/04 Christian Bindhammer frees "Zauberfee" 8c+, at the Eremo di S. Paolo (Arco). And his brother Andreas Bindhammer repeats it a few days later.
