On 15 July the Austrians Markus Haid and Hansjörg Auer carried out the first one day ascent of "Arctandria" (8b) on Blamann Wall, Norway.

On 30/07/2007 Dave Graham made the fourth ascent of Realization / Biographie, 9a+ at Ceuse, France.

On 17/7 Florian and Martin Riegler carried out a rare repeat of the Via Camillotto Pellesier on the N Face of Cima Grande di Lavaredo (Dolomites).

Rudy Moroder has climbed his first 8b+, "Non mollare" at Pian Schiavaneis, Dolomites, and on-sighted his first 8a, "Football fan" at Fraguel, Mallorca.

On 6/07 the Slovenian mountaineers Pavle Kozjekande Gregor Kresal made the first ascent of Stonehenge (VII+/VI, 70/50° ice, 600m), up the East face of Puscantrupa Este (5410m), Cordillera Huayhuash, Peru.

Dave Birkett has made the first ascent of another E9 6c at Cam Crag, Lake District, England.

On 20/07 the Italians Karl Unterkircher and Daniele Bernasconi reached the summit of Gasherbrum II (8035m) via the virgin North Face, climbing a beautiful route and resolving one of the most famous problems in the Himalaya.

On 15/07/2007 Chris Sharma made the first ascent of 'Three degrees of separation', a possible 9a at the Biografie sector in Ceuse, France.
