Mountaineers Raimundo De Andraca, Javier Galleani and Nicolas Valderrama from Chile have made the first winter ascent and first ski descent of Cerro Pinuer in Valle Exploradores, Patagonia.

At the end of May Florian Cappello and Roland Stricker skied a new line down the North Face of Tschenglser Hochwand / Croda di Cengles in the Ortler - Cevedale range, Italy.

French alpinists Paul Bonhomme and Vivian Bruchez have skied the SW Face of Täschorn (4491m) in Switzerland. The new line is likely to be the first descent of this imposing face.

Italian skier Aldo Valmassoi completed the first ski descent of the north face of Cristallo di Mezzo in the Dolomites. Valmassoi reports.

On 9 May 2021 the three mountain guides Paul Bonhomme, Vivian Bruchez and Gilles Sierro completed the first ski descent of the SW Face of Bietschorn in Valais, Switzerland

On 10 May Andrzej Bargiel and Jędrek Baranowski climbed Laila Peak (6096m) in the Karakorum, Pakistan. Starting from about 150m below the summit, the two Polish mountaineers then descended on skis.

On 04/05/2021 the French mountain guide Paul Bonhomme made the first ski descent of the the West Face of Mont Pouzenc (Embrunais, France).

On 30 April Andrzej Bargiel made the first ascent Yawash Sar II (6178m) in the Karakorum, Pakistan. Having reached the summit via the west face, the Polish mountaineer then made the mountain’s first ski descent.

The report by Andrea Cozzini and Claudio Lanzafame who on 13 March 2021 in the Brenta Dolomites made what is likely to be the first complete ski descent of Cima Margherita face and the Merzbacher gully.

On 1 April 2021 French alpinists Paul Bonhomme and Vivian Bruchez made what is likely to be the first ski descent of the east face of Combin de la Tsessette (4141m) in Switzerland.

From 21 and 22 March 2021 Martina Valmassoi from Italy broke the female 24-hour uphill ski record, ascending 17,645m in 24 hours at Auronzo di Cadore in the Dolomites.

The South Face of Mount Dunkirk (3030m) the Rocky Mountains, Canada, was skied for the first time on 17/03/2021 by Christina Lustenberger, Ian McIntosh and Nick McNutt.

On 17 March 2021 Luca Pandolfi perished in an avalanche above Flassin at Saint-Oyen in the Aosta Valley. Known by everyone, the Italian was a highly regarded snowboarder.

On 10/03/2021 Frenchmen Paul Bonhomme and Vivian Bruchez skied the SE Face of Tête Carrée in the Mont Blanc massif. Called La Testa tra le stelle, the line is likely to be the first ski descent of this face.

On 4/03/2021 alpinists and extreme skiers Ian McIntosh and Christina Lusti Lustenberger completed their childhood dream by scoring the first ski descent of Mount Nelson in Canada, skiing the mountain's striking East Face.
