Amid Austria’s Hoher Tauern massif lies the bouldering area Felbertauern. The boulders are situated on beautiful alpine meadows and surrounded by majestic mountains and besides this magnificent location the area offers technically challenging problems. In summer there are a lot of fishermen and hikers who come and picnic here and the only drawback is the proximity to the road and noise. The bouldering is split into three sectors: Tal des Wassers, Heidnische Kapelle and Wald, little-known but with a great variety of problems of all difficulties.
