Facing SE, Terminal offers more than 100 stamina climbs up vertical and slightly overhanging limestone. Although the routes range in difficulty from 5a - 8a, most climbs are in the region of 6c. The crag consists of three sectors, namely (from left to right as you look at the wall):
- Terminal Reloaded: dating back to 2002-2003 and completely revolted in 2013 by RocPennavaire. In particular, 800 bolts were checked, those not safe were rebolted, the chains were checked and the vegetation at the base was chopped away.
- Sector Pukli: bolted by Marco and Sabina Pukli in 2005 for whom, as always, we thank for their time and effort.
- Sector Casa dei Nonni: New area bolted in 2013 by RocPennavaire using funds provided by the Agriturismo Casa dei Nonni. Located on the extreme right, this steep sheet of red rock remains dry even in the rain.

Access
Take the motorway Genova-Ventimiglia (A10), exit at Albenga and follow the main road #582 towards Garessio, to Martinetto. Turn off left onto the #14 and enter Val Pennavaire. From the Martinetto junction continue for 4.5 km towards Castelbianco. Close to a wide rightwards curve the reddish-grey Terminal crag springs into view above the road. Park a few hundred meters after the agriturismo Ferruccio, taking care not to block the road or private car parks. Further parking is located at the clearing on the right immediately after the stream close to a group of houses. From here walk back to the wide cuve and take the small path on the left. This cuts across the hill, past the ridge to the base of the crag. Watch out for the fork on the left that leads steeply to the base of the crag. 10 minutes. Notes
Climbing in Val Pennavaire - Albenga - Marco Balda introduces the climbing in Val Pennavaire (Liguria), also known as Albenga. With 1,300 routes and 41 crags, this is one of the most popular climbing areas in Italy. Bibliography
The small guidebook with all the routes at Terminal and Granaio (the crag close by) can be purchased at Bar Neva in Cisano. Oltrefinale #2 is out of date.
