CAMP. athletes dominated Verbier 2015 ski mountaineering World Championship. Our team got 13 medals – 5 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze – and several good places in every competition.

CAMP. athletes dominated Verbier 2015 ski mountaineering World Championship. Our team got 13 medals – 5 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze – and several good places in every competition.
The main actor was Robert Antonioli that achieved 4 medals (gold in Sprint and Relay, silver in Individual and bronze in Team race), but also Matteo Eydallin managed to got excellent results with 3 medals (gold in Relay and Team race, bronze in Individual). Damiano Lenzi and Michele Boscacci got 2 medals (Lenzi: gold in Team race and Relay; Boscacci: gold in Relay and bronze in Team race) and eventually Davide Magnini won 4 medals in Junior category (gold in Sprint and Relay, silver in Vertical and Individual). But it is not all: we highlight also Xavier Gachet silver medal in Team race and Lorenzo Holzknecht and Federico Nicolini bronze medals respectively in Vertical and Individual Espoir.
In Sprint races, in addition to Antonioli and Magnini successes, Elena Nicolini and Martina Valmassoi got 6th and 8th places in women category. Antonioli and Boscacci achieved the same positions in the Vertical where also Holzknecht gained an amazing 3rd place. Concerning Vertical young categories, Magnini got the 2nd place in the Junior and Federico Nicolini got the 4th in the Espoir.
About Individual race, as revealed in advance, Antonioli gained the 2nd place, Eydallin was 3rd, Gachet 4th, Pietro Lanfranchi 9th and Boscacci 10th. In young categories, Junior Magnini got the 2nd place, Espoir Nicolini arrived 3rd and Alessandra Cazzanelli achieved a good 4th place in women Espoir.
Men Team race was really exciting for C.A.M.P. that conquered podium in full: gold medal for Eydallin and Lenzi, silver for Gachet and bronze for Antonioli and Boscacci. Concerning women, Elena Nicolini team got the 4th place.
Eventually the Relays where Italian national Team with Eydallin, Lenzi, Antonioli and Boscacci won the gold medal. About women Elena Nicolini and Martina Valmassoi achieved the 4th place and Magnini was on the top of podium in the young race.
