The Hour Between Dog and Wolf was first ascended by Michal Coubal and his daughter Anna Coubalová on 20-21 August 2020 on the north face of Trogkofel / Creta di Aip. It takes a line to the right of Montanari per Scelta (2015) and Rain Men (1989 ) before crossing these up high and continuing direct to the summit.
