Route

Prime Time is considered a stunningly beautiful multi-pitch climb on Repswand, the impressively smooth limestone cliff just north of Innsbruck in Austria’s Karwendel mountain range. The route takes a direct line thorugh the central slab to the right of Bike 2 Crack and was forged ground-up over a period of three days by Peter Manhartsberger and Klaus Gössinger. Due to the difficulties on the crux pitch an easier variation was bolted by abseil. HIhgly tecnical face climbing, one of the top routes in the entire Karwendel massif.

Getting there

From Innsbruck drive north to Scharnitz. Park at the Schraffelbrücke car park. Continue by bike for approx. 45min - 1 hour into the valley towards Kastenalm (13km). Circa 100m before reaching the Kastenalm car park head left at the gate and continue for a further 5 minutes to below the wall. Leave the bikes here and follow cairns to reach the base of the crag in 10 minutes. E-Mountainbikes make the approach considerably easier.
