Route
This route takes the arête up the large, compact pillar on the left-hand side of the Lastoni dei Formin. The first section rises to the right up the corners before reaching the arête proper. The route becomes progressively harder and more exposed, before moving off left and then back right again for the final pitch.
Getting there
Passo Giau is reached easily either from Cortina via the SS48 and SS638, or from Caprile for those coming from the Agordino. Access
Approach as for Super tegolina, past the rubble from the Central Pillar, to quickly reach the foot of the West Pillar. Scramble easily up grassy ledges slightly to the right of the arête, to the corner crack at its lowest point. Allow about an hour for the walk-in. Descent
As for Super tegolina. Gear
There is some in-situ gear, nevertheless take a full rack, some medium and large friends (and/or Camalots 1,2,3), pegs and hammer.

Bella salita su roccia ottima.I chiodi di passaggio non sono sempre suff.ma facilmente integrabili. Il tiro chiave non è così difficile come de relazione. Merita di essere ripetuta.Mandi

Bellissima. Roccia Eccellente, esposizione notevole, buone protezioni integrabili a piacere.Difficoltà sostenute, poco IV tanto V e diverso V+. Il tiro chiave in realtà è meno difficile del traverso.

Bella via da puro divertimento ma che richiede allenamento. Preso dall'entusiasmo non ho fatto il traverso in alto ma sono andato a litigare d'acchito con una fessurina strapiombante che si è rivelata il tratto più duro della via (variante fuori norma, non ne vale la pena). Lo strapiombo finale mi è sembrato divertente ma non duro perché i piedi sono ben piazzati sulle due facce di un diedro (se ricordo bene; fatto sta che ho aspettato da primo in quella posizione che il mio amico Cesare del Soccorso Alpino finisse una telefonata che lo avvisava di un incidente e potesse ricominciare a farmi sicura).

Bella salita, con roccia ottima. Chiodatura sufficiente sui tiri più impegnativi, per il resto ci si protegge con friends e clessidre. Traverso veramente mozzafiato con uscita finale impegnativa (LUCA F. - FAUSTO T. CAI TREVIGLIO BG)
