Route
A modern route which, given it’s grade, good protection and excellent rock, is destined to become a classic. The route takes trad pro but the belays were bolted on lead and the pitches contain numerous pegs, nevertheless take a selection of nuts, threads and slings.
Getting there
Passo Giau is reached easily either from Cortina via the SS48 and SS638, or from Caprile for those coming from the Agordino. Access
Drive towards Passo Giau from Cortina and park the car on the left next to the sign for "Muraglia di Giau". Continue on foot towards the tower, follwoing tree markers (path no. 436 for Forcella Giau). Allow 35 mins for the walk-in. Descent
Descend easily down the gully indicated in the drawing. 15 mins to the base of the routes Gear
The route is equipped with some in-situ gear, nevertheless take some small and mid-sized camming devices, a selection of nuts, threads and slings.

Itinerario molto bello soprattutto per la posizione del torrione, accesso e rientro in ambiente favoloso. La via si sviluppa su roccia buona nella prima metà per poi diventare ottima. Soste comode e sicure. I gradi sono giusti e le protezioni, dove servono, ci sono. Utile una serie di dadi.

Bella Via con roccia buona e ben protetta, ottimo lavoro e piacevole scalata ottima per giornate di tempo incerto.

ATTENZIONE:nel quarto tiro seguite la linea, ma tenete gli occhi sulla destra per la sosta.Più in alto, a circa una decina di metri verso sinistra, si nota un cordino con maglia rapida su una clessidra. Non badatelo assolutamente. Sbagliando sono salito ben oltre la sosta, trovandomi in un pezzo non proprio facile..Poi mi sono calato fino alla sosta.Non percorrete assolutamente verso quella direzione.Chiedo scusa a tutti per aver abbandonato materiale superfluo sulla via.saluti.
