Route
A modern route through the center of the face, up grey rock to the right of Spigolo Priolo. Easier and less sustained than nearby Spiderman, the climbing is demanding with a 7b crux and obligatory 7a.
Getting there
Passo Giau is reached easily either from Cortina via the SS48 and SS638, or from Caprile for those coming from the Agordino. Access
Approach this climb by driving down from Passo Giau towards Cortina, parking the car after some hairpin bends and following the obvious path no. 436 towards the Forcella Giau. After the forest the path steepens; continue left along a trail past large boulders to the scree slopes that come down from the Lastoni di Formin. Traverse high to reach the base of the wall. Allow about an hour for the walk-in. Itinerary

Abseil down the route (two 55m ropes, clip some quickdraws during the first abseil as the belay is not directly below). Alternatively, scramble up the summit plateau and walk down as for Super tegolina Gear
Small and mid-size camming devices, two 60m ropes and a dozen quickdraws.

A me il 7b mi ha impegnato da 7b, tiro difficile da leggere e presa bagnata sul chiave che forse ha inciso sulla mia valutazione.7a+ giocoso e non difficile. Io ho usato qualche nut e friend fino allo 0.75; anche tricam starebbero bene. Sul 7b un 0.3 mi ha regalato serenità tra 2spit distantini.

Via veramente perfetta in un ambiente belissimo! Roccia solida, solo un paio di metri del 7a+ un po friabile. Il tiro di 7b é al massimo 7a+, quello di 7a+ é anche un po sopravallutato. Sui due tiri di 7b e di 6c devi proprio "andare"...... anche se la arrampicata obbligatoria non é 7b, sarebbe secondo me 6c+Noi dopo il tiro di 3+ non siamo riusciti a trovare la sosta con due spit - c´é solo uno???

Bella via, concordo con il commneto di Edoardo riguardo l'obbligatorietà, inoltre a mio avviso anche il tiro di 7b è sopravalutato. Per la discesa abbiamo scelto le doppie di Supertegolina.

Molto bella su roccia quasi sempre belissima, tranne che nel penultimo tiro (dato 7a+, ma al massimo 7a se non meno) Non credo sia 7b obbligatorio (secondo me 6c/6c++), anche se la chiodatura garantisce emozioni al primo di cordata, soprattutto sul tiro di 6c (passo obbligatorio al penultimo spit a 7-10 metri dal precedente; probabilmente il tiro è un filo + duro di 6c)
