The moment tragedy was narrowly avoided on Monte Rosa: at 11:52 a.m on Saturday 26 April 2025 a Swiss private plane landed and took off next to a group of ski mountaineers ascending towards Capanna Margherita. The reckless maneuver could have ended in tragedy.
