Polish alpinist Bartosz Kacper Ziemski has made ski descents of both Lhotse and Everest in Nepal. He climbed both mountains alpine style, without supplementary oxygen.

The report by Luca Dallavalle, who, together with his brother Roberto Dallavalle, on 4 April 2026 made what is believed to be the first ski descent of the west couloir of Cima Rocca (2,831 m) in the Brenta Dolomites, Italy.

On 3 April 2026, Tiziano Canal, Francesco Vascellari, Davide D’Alpaos and Franz Anstein made the probable first ski descent of the north face of Cima Collalto, in the Dolomites of Oltre Piave. A secret face, almost invisible from every angle, accessible only via long exposed tracks, yet surprisingly logical.

On 31/12/2025 Filip Babicz and Olivier Gajewski climbed the historic 'Allain-Leininger' route (TD+, M7, 900m) on the north face of the Petit Dru (3,733m) in the Mont Blanc massif. This is a rare single-day free ascent in winter of this classic, established in 1935 by Pierre Allain and Raymond Leininger.
