From 21 and 22 March 2021 Martina Valmassoi from Italy broke the female 24-hour uphill ski record, ascending 17,645m in 24 hours at Auronzo di Cadore in the Dolomites.

Stefano Ghisolfi at the crag Padaro at Arco, Italy, has made the first ascent of Terapia d’urto while Alexander Megos at Saint Léger du Ventoux in France has established Et pour quelques dégaines de plus. Both sport climbs are graded 9a+.

At Seekofel / Croda del Becco above Lake Braies in the Dolomites alpinists Manuel Baumgartner and Daniel Töchterle from the South Tyrol, Italy, completed the first ascent of Zahnlos (200m, WI6/M6).
