Austria's Eva Hammelmüller has made incredibly quick work of Esclatamàsters, the 9a at Perles in Spain first ascended in 2006 by Ramón Julián Puigblanque and considered by many as one of the most beautiful routes of its grade.

The route, described by Ramonet as "Pura resistència", starts with an overhanging traverse on tufas, which then leads to the crux: delicate, technical climbing on slightly overhanging, bullet-proof limestone. Hammelmüller needed just four sessions to redpoint the route, later confirming its beauty.

The 24-year-old has been steadily working her way through the grades. In 2023, she repeated La ligne claire (8c+) at Saint Léger du Ventoux in France and Pungitopo (8c+) at Arco in Italy, while in 2024, she repeated Hades (9a) at Nassereith in Austria.
