The Maria Luisa Memorial is calling photographers and filmmakers, both amateurs and professionals, to the thirty-fourth edition of their contest. The aim, as always, is "to find new and innovative images that allow us to continue with the promotion of the artistic work at the same time as with the diffusion of the natural environment and its necessary protection.""

Mountain, nature, wildlife, mountaineering, climbing, landscape, underwater world, biodiversity, flora, extreme and adventure sports, etc. are the reference of this year's edition, not only in the photography categories but in the section dedicated to videos, films and documentaries as well.

In addition, on this occasion, a new thematic category is dedicated exclusively to night photography, taking into account landscapes, fauna and flora. Its people and their traditional ways of life, as well as the nature sports practiced within that geographical space.

This time the contest is made up of fourteen thematic categories on the Mountain, Nature and Adventure, in addition to the specific category of videos. The theme of the year will be dedicated to: Night photography.

Deadline: 1st December 2023.
Theme: Mountain, Nature and Adventure.
14 different categories.
Topic of the year: Night photography. The mountains, nature and adventure; its landscapes, fauna and flora; its people and their traditional ways of life, as well as the nature sports photographed during the night hours.
Absolute prize: 3,000 euros, and a trophy.
Awards categories: 300 euros, trophies, and gifts.
Film Festival. Videos, films and documentaries. Majestic open-air exhibition.
