Another new drip, this time at Bardonecchia (NE Italy) which, every now and then, reveals some great routes in the coldest season. This winter a thin line came into condition right next to the beautiful Inattesa Sorpresa - first climbed in 2008 by Massimo Bazzetta and Massimo Giuliberti – and the new 80m icefall breaches the rocky bastion via two pitches and difficulties up to III/5/D2. First climbed on 12 January 2013 by Marco Conti and Mirella Becciu, the new line is called La Bava della Sueur.
