... and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo
Ernesto Benfari & Christian Sega
"It was a Monday, 16 July two years ago, when Chris and I got on to the saddles of our bikes, Eva and Priscilla, to start our Dolomites tour. Two years have passed since then, indeed they've flown by; while you experience moments like those it feels as if you're on one of those long hauls up to Passo Giau... but then when you look behind you you savour the descent, the speed, the wind... wow! And in an instant two years go by! With this video we have tried, perhaps unconsciously, to describe this eternal conflict, to create a light-hearted story, that slips away like raindrops in the summer sun, but that leaves its mark, just like when you're completely drenched. A real, true experience."

"When I think back to that day two years ago when we got onto our wobbly bikes, packed with all our gear, ready for a summer a stone's throw from home, I cannot but smile. Everything that this trip represented to us, our ideals, our desire to intensely experience the mountains, headfirst, is summed up in that frosty morning of 16 July, in the first descent through the valley of lakes, the first broken spoke even before reaching Trento and the countless adventures we had during those 44 days spent exploring the Dolomites. This small travel guide wishes to demonstrate that any "bet", however big or small it may be, can be an important opportunity for inner growth. Just like any rock face..."
