Telendos - Pescatore
From Kalymnos take the boat to Telendos, from the harbour follow the pretty trail along the coast towards Irox (50 min). Traverse along the foot of the cliffs and, when the sector Irox ends, ascend briefly to the right (total time: 60-65 min). Alternatively, you can approach Irox by boat and ascend briefly to the right (only 10 min). Period
The sector is in the shade all morning and receives the sun after 14.00. When the sun comes, you can go further up and to the right, to Glaros (10 min), or down to Irox (5 min). Climb
Most routes start off with tough moves on stalactites, although the endings on a sharp wall are not always of the same high climbing quality. On certain routes, bolts have not always been ideally placed. On the left are slabs of very high quality, including the incredible, smooth wall of Amores Perros 7c+, the crown jewel of this sector. Most routes in Pescatore were equipped by Vincent Serra di Migni with his partner Eugenia, and George Kopalides. Other route equippers include Bruno Fara, Renée Guerin, Giorgio and Elisabetta Galli, Simon Montmory and Quentin Chastagnier. Notes
