The Red Rocks park located on the outskirts of Las Vegas is comprised of numerous canyons, each of which offers sectors with incredible boulders. The sandstone on some of these is absolutely perfect in terms of colour, grain, shape and holds.
Apart from some of the older sectors, all other areas require a considerable approach, at times to reach just a few established problems. Boulders are strewn about everywhere and probably the potential for new lines is still high.
At present the hardest and most famous problem at Red Rocks is Meadowlark Lemon, located in the Gateway canyon and put up by Paul Robinson, but with more than 2000 problems to choose from, there is certainly something for everyone.
The park is located just outside Las Vegas.
