Michele Boscacci and Matteo Eydallin won Tour du Rutor!

Michele Boscacci and Matteo Eydallin won 2016 Tour du Rutor and gave C.A.M.P. and Italian ski-mountaineering another great satisfaction.
Dominating the first two stages of competition, Michele Boscacci and Matteo Eydallin won 2016 Tour du Rutor and gave C.A.M.P. and Italian ski-mountaineering another great satisfaction. For Michele this was the first success at the Rutor – 15 years after that achieved by his father Graziano – while for Matteo was the fourth one, after those of 2009, 2011 and 2014. But for Michele, Tour du Rutor victory means also the first place in 2016 Ski-mountaineering overall World Cup! We mention also Pietro Lanfranchi that got the 5th place, Damiano Lenzi and Lorenzo Holzknecht gained the 6th, and Manfred Reichegger and Nadir Maguet were 9th: good placements in this high mountain challenge, where C.A.M.P. made itself even more popular with ski-mountaineering enthusiasts thanks to a special event with wonderful prizes that had great success. From men to women we highlight the amazing 3rd place by Elena Nicolini and Laura Besseghini. Elena was very happy for this result, explaining «it was like a breath of fresh air at the end of a so-so sport season». Eventually, young Davide Magnini achieved the silver medal in the Junior category. So, waiting the last race of 2016 Grande Course – the Patrouille des Glaciers will start on 19th April – we congratulate all our athletes, that demonstrated to be the best of the world, and also to share with C.A.M.P. the same great passion for ski-mountaineering. Special thanks to Matteo Eydallin that gives to C.A.M.P. the chocolate bell won at the Tour du Rutor.
