Thanks to a radical, visual and substantial change, C.A.M.P. adopts a new image to light up its future.

Some of you may well have noticed it already: a new logo stands out on our products and on C.A.M.P.’s social media channels. A brand that epitomises the radical rebranding process of the Premana firm, a world leader sporting a 134-year old history in the manufacturing of technical products for the safety of outdoor activities and work at height.
The need to convey a clear, distinctive and powerfully recognisable image of C.A.M.P. lies at the core of our choice to focus on a single, modern brand: a unique world with its two Outdoor and Work divisions, identified by the colours blue and red. In the words of the President Eddy Codega, «enthusiasts and professionals alike will have only one, precise point of reference to live a renewed, greater C.A.M.P. experience, developing a bond based on the identification with our values».
The new logo is made up by a pictogram “a gift from nature”, an immediate, straightforward logotype, along with the paramount punctuation, and the “evolutionary” payoff that combines all the keywords that distinguish the Premana firm.
The pictogram: a gift from nature.
The pictogram, the real graphic driving force of the rebranding, was a real gift from nature, as mentioned above. It stemmed from the area that acts as a background for Premana and its valley, where C.A.M.P. has its seat. The elements have been conveniently modified to represent the sphere the company operates in: verticality. As Eddy Codega underlines: «verticality is the perspective we look at, the one we work in and the one we will keep on investing in».
The logotype: a world to discover behind every letter. In alternation and in harmony with the pictogram, our new logotype is straightforward, clean and immediately recognisable. Its lettering is clear, smooth and continuous and conveys feelings of movement and freshness. The punctuation is inserted “naturally” and is part of the name of firm, underlying its essence. This is because C.A.M.P. is an acronym and every letter stands for a word and a world to discover: “Costruzione Articoli Montagna Premana” (Manufacturing of Mountain Tools in Premana).
The pay-off: telling the story of a firm that is willing to change. “Evolutionary” was chosen because it says everything about C.A.M.P., underlying the willingness of the firm to adapt to its reference scenarios. It also points to the image of a slow but incessant, continuous and constant transformation – the long history of C.A.M.P. – and it is an internationally acknowledged word that is immediate and easy to understand. It also looks to the future, an incitement in this rebranding launch phase and beyond.
The celebration of the new brand has already begun with a launch campaign in the fields C.A.M.P. operates in, primarily focusing on the values that set the firm aside. In this regard the new website www.camp.it, which went online on 3 May 2022, and our social media pages – Facebook and Instagram – are both fundamental parts and dissemination tools of the rebranding. Have a look at them and become a follower: through our digital image you will discover a tangible world (C.A.M.P.), which is ready to change (Evolutionary) without losing sight of its mountains (represented in the pictogram).
