Siurana, Catalonia: one of the meccas of sport climbing, a mesmerizing rock paradise: here you will find mythical, tough lines such as La Rambla and La Capella (both 9a+), which are part of Stefano Ghisolfi’s stellar portfolio, a world-renowned top climber and a C.A.M.P. athlete who needs no introduction. Stefano’s attendance to the next edition of the Siurana Climbing Festival from 10 until 12 November will define the participation of the Premana firm to the event as truly special; as was the case for past years, thousands of enthusiasts from all over the world will attend the festival.
C.A.M.P. is glad to reinforce this important partnership that testifies to its deep-rooted attention for the world of sport climbing. Let’s just think about the historic sponsorships of Sportroccia – the 1985 international climbing competition –, the year-long backing of Rock Master in Arco di Trento and the ongoing collaboration with Melloblocco – the bouldering meeting in Val Masino, in the Central Alps – right from the start of the event. Need we touch on the star players among of the C.A.M.P. team? The list would be far too long and we will only mention contemporary and past leading figures – Patrick Edlinger and Stefano Ghisolfi - and the two champions who won a staggering ten Lead World Cups (five each) - Muriel Sarkany and Janja Garnbret.
As anticipated, the core of the Siurana Climbing Festival will take place from 10 until 12 November. Athletes, mountain guides, technicians and climbing experts, as well as professional photographers, will share their knowledge with the participants of the various clinics. Speaking of protagonists, here is the detailed list of appointments with Stefano Ghisolfi. On the late afternoon of Friday 10 November, our champion will sign photos and autographs at the Goma 2 shop in Cornudella. Saturday 11 November will see Stefano in action: he will lead a clinic showing various moves and offering advice on how to improve climbing at the crag. The evening will see an exciting screening of photos and videos called “Beyond Limits”. On Sunday 12 November, Stefano will do nothing but climb, letting others take photos of him, as part of a clinic where a professional photographer will explain how to obtain the finest shot in an outdoor environment.
