Route
Val Ferret is located close to Courmayeur and offers two mid-grade icefalls which can be reached easily and are, above all, situated in an amazing backdrop. The climbs are located at the foot of Mont Blanc, directly in front of the south face of the Grandes Jorasses. Ipsilon is the icefall on the left and can be climbed more easily on the left. Just over 70m high, it serves as a good opening test to the start of the season.
Getting there
From Courmayeur drive through Val Ferret to the golf course. Access
