ARC'TERYX is proud to introduce the Procline AR Carbon ski touring boot. Building on the benchmark agility of the original Procline ski alpinism boot, the Procline AR Carbon provides exceptional freedom for the ascent, adds power for the descent, and brings it all together in a lightweight design. Agility for the Ascent Featuring a revolutionary, patented two-piece carbon fibre upper cuff system that offers 360° of rotation, the Procline AR boot delivers unrivalled vertical and lateral ankle agility. This enables balance, control, and comfort on technical ascents, improving edge control, and stability while skinning on steep traverses. Performance for the Decent Built for confident downhill travel on all snow conditions, the new Procline AR Carbon is the ideal ski touring boot for skiers looking to push further into untracked territories and enjoy the reward of descending untouched terrain. The materials and construction are carefully selected and leveraged to create a boot that fits comfortably, responds quickly, and drives power to the ski. The boot’s light, durable Ultramid® shell material balances structural support and impact resistance. A wide, easy to operate Cam Powerstrap quickly micro-adjusts with our cam lock for an exceptionally secure fit. Our warmer, more supportive Ultralon closed- cell foam liner resists packing out and can be thermoformed for a precise, secure, and responsive performance, while the boot’s integrated tongue provides additional support without compromising mobility.
Lightweight Design The Procline AR’s carefully considered design, construction and materials keep the boot’s weight as low as functionally possible without sacrificing the mobility and agility for the ascent or the support required for the descent. A light, stiff injection moulded Grilamid spoiler employs carbon fibre reinforced construction to reduce weight while improving stiffness and power transfer. An integrated, zipper-less gaiter sheds grams without sacrificing protection from the elements. In order to help keep weight down on long tours as well as creating more warmth, a closed-cell hydrophobic foam liner has been included to significantly minimize water absorption from sweat and melted snow. Performance for All The collection is comprised of a premium Men’s and Women’s Procline AR Carbon, with a carbon fibre cuff for improved downhill performance and lateral edge control as well as Procline AR models, boasting an innovative carbon fibre charged Grilamid® cuff for a more progressive and forgiving flex.
