AKUVersatile model suitable for multiple outdoor activities including light and fast hiking, e-biking and urban adventures. The upper is completely made of non-animal and recycled materials. The water repellency treatments are PFAS-free as is the waterproof Gore-Tex lining, made of ePE. The two densities of the wedge and the tread are co-moulded to reduce the use of adhesives. The EVA used is partially bio-based. The tread is made of partially recycled rubber with an asymmetrical design in synchrony with the AKU Elica Natural Stride System, which promotes biodynamic efficiency. The inner part of the forefoot has an increased toe cap density to promote grip on e-bike pedals.
