K2 70

K2 70: July 31, the return to base camp, after a rescue operation and dramatic hours of suspense, of Marco Majori and Federico Secchi was celebrated. The young and very generous French ace Benjamin Vendrines and his photographer Sebastien were instrumental in the help they brought. There are also many, about twenty Italians and French, who helped up to camp 2. The 70th anniversary of K2 and the ascent of Agostino Da Polenza from the north face on July 31, 1983 was also celebrated.
