The beauty of time
Time in the mountains, measured through the particular lens of Guido Perrini.

Time in the mountains, measured through the particular lens of Guido Perrini.
One of the things we should take greater care of is our time. Seconds pass by at stratospheric speed, minutes amalgamate into one and, before we even realise it, days become months and months years...
Time increasingly slips from our grasp, without us even savouring it. And sometimes this is reflected in the way in which we take to the mountains. It's all go go go. We flee. We race upwards at breakneck speed, climbs are completed in just hours, in fragments of days. And then we fall back into the daily routine. There's no time. And time which expands, which unfolds to almost suspend itself has all but disappeared. That time which leaves room for being in the mountains, in a tent, in a mountain hut...
Perhaps we gain something... But we certainly lose something, too. We're fast. Always. And too fast. We find it hard to sit down in front of nature, to marvel at the passing clouds, discover the stars, listen to the river trickle. To feel not only the force of the wind but also its caress...
It's because of this that we recommend this video. A dedication to time. And our need to get it back.
