After four previous stages and a nigh two-month stop, the Bouldering World Cup 2015 comes to a conclusion in the Olympic stadium in Munich, Germany today.

In the men’s event is a tight call with - technically speaking - the top nine climbers all in with a chance of winning gold. More realistically though, the battle for gold will be between the top five, namely Jongwon Chon of Korea who currently leads the provisional ranking with 227 points, ahead of Adam Ondra (221 points), Jan Hojer (213 points), Nathaniel Coleman (207 points) and Alban Levier (201 points).

Unless there is a major upset, overall victory in the women’s event should go to Akiyo Noguchi. The Japanese leads the field with 340 points, well-clear of her teammate Miho Nonaka (233 points) and Shauna Coxsey (232 points). Furthermore, her greatest rivals all all absent unfortunately: Anna Stöhr and Alex Puccio are out due to injury, while World Champion Juliane Wurm rather surprisingly announced her partial retirement from competitions just a few weeks ago.
