Jorg Verhoeven
Jorg Verhoeven and Katharina Saurwein are currently touring the States and after stopping off at the Red River Gorge (with Verhoeven sending Pure Immagination 9a) and Yosemite Valley, the duo are now bouldering at the Buttermilks close to Bishop in California.
Weather conditions as yet have been prefect resulting in numerous ascents including, above all, the highballs Ambrosia V11 (freed by Kevin Jorgeson in 2009) for Verhoeven and This Side of Paradise (V10) for Saurwein. Both climbers checked their problems out on top rope first but with only two crashpads, the ascents proved very high indeed! Saurwein's is only the second female ascent of This Side of Paradise , after Lisa Rands in 2007.
