Uncut: Daniel Woods climbing La Capella at Siurana
The integral video of US climber Daniel Woods climbing his first 9b, La Capella at Siurana in Spain.
9b ascents don’t happen daily. Actually, 9b is very much a legendary grade that to date only a handful of climbers have mastered. Capturing someone throughout the actual ascent is even rarer, which is why this video is so interesting. It documents the third ascent of La Capella, the bouldery climb at Siurana freed by Adam Ondra in 2011 and repeated for the first time by Stefano Ghisolfi in mid-January 2018. Woods succeeded a few days later to claim his first 9b.
